Well hello and welcome to my first attempt at a blog. this day is a test run to see how this blogging works and more importantly to see if I can figure out how to use this thing, this medium I think is the right term known as the internet.
Im using my new computer, a laptop made by ACER and it works ok however I have an issue with the keyboard layout. If anyone works for ACER or has an inside line to them, let them know I don't like their keyboard layout due to one issue. The left shift key is supposed to be right below the caplock key and to the left of the letter z. instead, ACER decided to put a slash button with other symbols first then the shift button. I've been typing on keyboards for about 40 years including my first smith corona student typewriter and the shift key was always in the same spot. Thanks to the design folks as ACER, I now have to slide my left hand over further to hit the shift or else I get messed up.
Enough whining on my behalf. That wasn't my intention.
So here it goes. I was on facebook earlier and one of my new old friends commented that she was wondering why she felt a bond still with people she had not heard from nor seen hardly for over 20-30 years?
Simply put. I enjoyed the social aspects of high school and yes Laurie, I had a blast knowing you back then. You were a hoot, cute as a button and had personality to die for. We were young less biased and easier to get along with.
We should remember that when dealing with our teenagers today.
I'll add more to this later as I will post this now and see how it looks. any feedback is more than welcome either positive or negative. I learn from both.
